Student Session
Call for Papers
BalkanCom 2026 is pleased to host a dedicated student session, a vibrant forum where potential future researchers can showcase their cutting-edge research, network with renowned academics and industry experts, and immerse themselves in the latest innovations in the field – all in a friendly and professional setting. BalkanCom 2026 will take place on June 16 - 19, 2026 in Ulcinj, Montenegro.
In order to submit a paper to the Student Session, the first author and the presenter of the paper must be a student. BalkanCom will support the students whose full student paper or extended abstracts are selected to be presented at the conference.
Student session accepts extended abstracts on but not limited to the following topics:

Submission Guidelines
Submissions to the student session can be either full papers, not exceeding 5 pages, or extended abstracts of up to 2 pages. Both should be formatted in IEEE double-column style, including figures and references, and submitted via EDAS.
Only the full 5-page papers will be considered for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore's scope and quality requirements.
Extended abstracts of 2 pages will be presented exclusively at the conference. BalkanCom reserves the right to exclude any paper from distribution after the conference if it is not presented during the event.
Submissions are now accepted through EDAS.
